The car is very nice, this could have been a 5-star experience had things happened according to the reservation and within a timely manner.
I set up a time to be picked up the day before. The day of, I had to call them bc it was now after the time they was suppose to pick me up. They said they have not even left the location yet.. So they arrived 25mins after the time I set. When i got there the rental was backed in with the windows down.. Yea it looked weird but I was on my lunch break and they was already 25 mins late.. So i got the car.. Half way back to work I realised why the windows was down.. The rental had a horrible dog smell.. I honestly had to lysol the rental down. Then the guy that picked me up didnt assist me with removing a few belongings from one car to the other car.. He simply walked off towards the building.
Great customer service. Very amiable atmosphere. Will be returning soon.
The good: once I got there, the staff is friendly and the car was relatively new, clean and nice.
The car wasn't clean and gluey gooey stuff on each of the doors. Scratches all over the car and the interior. It wasn't in that good of shape for a car that has 11k miles on it.
The bad: scheduled pickup for a Monday at a local body shop for 10:30. By 11, no one had showed up. I called multiple times, either no answer or put on hold until I gave up. I ended up riding with the body shop owner over to the Hertz location. Upon arrival they did not have the car that was reserved for me on hand, so I received a car one step down. However the car wasn't ready yet, so I waited in the office until just after 12.
The worst customer service EVER!!! Wife needed a car while hers was in shop, first they gave her a Ford Focus that was last rented by a family of smokers. The car reeked so bad she had to leave windows down. Insurance company called to get her in a different car and had to put her in an SUV till they got something comparable and said they would call when they did. They never called then tried to charge us for the SUV. When she called to complain manager hung up on her. Not to mention she called a week prior to make sure they would have a car for her and still had to wait over an hour for a car that smelt like a cigarette covered in Fabreeze. Go to ENTERPRISE!!!!
