Dealing with these people was like being lost in wonderland. I called looking for a tool. I was immediately and enthusiastically told that they did not have the tool. I asked the person did they know what the tool was. They responded that they did not. So, they couldn't be sure. I was transferred to someone else. They were equally mystified regarding the tool. They told me they were unsure if they had it. The person's response was that if they had it, it would be located on a given isle. At that point, I did not ask that they check. It appeared to me that one selling tools should be familiar with tools and when you to inquire that one checks. The tool that I was looking for was a reamer.
Sad to write this review, because I have gone to Ace Hardwares throughout my entire life and have never had an issue. In the four years that I have lived here I have yet to visit this location. Today I did, and here is what I have for you. First off, the location is terrible. It's right before a four way intersection, and while turning in is a breeze, getting out of it is not. The only reason I am giving this place a two out of five instead of a one is because when I came in the lady at the front welcomed me and when I left she wished me a good day. That being said I do not know why she welcomed me, because I told her what I was looking for and she asked over the intercom, but then proceeded to help someone in line and completely disregard me. It was really weird. What upset me a little is that after spending about 10 minutes walking up and down nearly every aisle, which was surprising that it took that long because it is not that big of a place to begin with, I went back up to the front to ask for assistance again. The same girl got on the intercom, this time getting a response, and said that they would meet me at the aisle. So I go back to the aisles and I go up, I go down, I stand and I wait, and needless to say no one came. Surprise surprise. I finally found the location of where the product I was looking for would be, would meaning that of course they did not have it. Really do not have anything positive to say about this place other then you get a hi when you come in and a bye when you leave. Good luck finding what you are looking for, with or without assistance from the employees (I literally saw two in the entire store) that work there.
This ia a great place to get things ya cant find at home depot . lawn mower work as well. Parts for most lawn mowers of bout any type. I am a frequent shopper here. Staff are very helpful and very nice as well. Cant say enough about the staff here . just want to get ya in and out and satisfy ya customers at all times.
Ive been here a total of 7 times. Every single time the staff have shown where something is in the store with no failure. Its great to have a store like this closeby. Just wish they were open longer than six.
Very friendly staff. Everyone goes out of their way to greet and smile. Associate knew exactly whete to find the specialty nut I needed.
